Hazelwood East scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Timberland T-Wolves by a score of 106-104. The Spartans were up 65-49 in the third quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Hazelwood East's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 20-8. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points over those games. As for Timberland, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

Looking ahead, Hazelwood East will challenge Parkway North at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Timberland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
