Volleyball Recap: Cathedral Comes Up Short

Cathedral was the 3-1 winner over San Gabriel when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Phantoms took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Matadors on Saturday.

Cathedral has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for San Gabriel, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Cathedral has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against West Covina on the 28th. As for San Gabriel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Garfield on the 28th.
