Volleyball Recap: The New Community School Comes Up Short

The New Community School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Denbigh Baptist Christian Minutemen. If the Sabers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Minutemen when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The New Community School's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Denbigh Baptist Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The New Community School will take on The Carmel School at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Denbigh Baptist Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against StoneBridge at 6:30 p.m. on September 2.
