Burns's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Lincolnton Wolves by a score of 10-5. Considering the Bulldogs' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The win snapped Burns' losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-6 record. As for Lincolnton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burns will welcome Cherryville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lincolnton, they will be playing at home against Maiden at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
