Football Preview: Twin Falls Bruins vs. Canyon Ridge Riverhawks        
        
		
             Twin Falls is 8-2 against Canyon Ridge since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The Twin Falls Bruins will head out on the road to  face off against  the Canyon Ridge Riverhawks  at 7:00  p.m. The two teams are strolling into their  contests after big wins in their previous games.
 Twin Falls' defense heads into the  match  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  last Friday. They blew past Jerome 74-0 at home. Given the Bruins' advantage  in MaxPreps' Idaho football rankings  (they are ranked 26th, while the Tigers are ranked 86th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Amos Kun had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 153 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 66 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ty Hess, who threw for 204 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes.
 Meanwhile,  everything went Canyon Ridge's way against Mountain Home on Friday as Canyon Ridge made off with  a  26-6 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Riverhawks.
 A big part of the  win came down to the chemistry between  Nathan Holstine and his top target  Kade Mcentire. Holstine threw for 164 yards and four touchdowns while  Mcentire picked up 117 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
 Canyon Ridge wouldn't let Mountain Home keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles.  Jarrett Huff was the leader in that area as all came courtesy of his dominant performance.
 The  victory  got Twin Falls back to even at 1-1. As for Canyon Ridge, their win  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-1.
 Everything came up roses for Twin Falls against Canyon Ridge in their previous meeting  back in October of 2023 as the  squad secured  a  43-8 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Twin Falls since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
