Volleyball Recap: James Island Takes a Loss

James Island lost against Lucy Beckham back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Bengals.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-8.

James Island's defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lucy Beckham, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Coincidentally, James Island and Lucy Beckham will both be playing Summerville the next time they take the court. The Trojans will host the Green Wave at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Bengals will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
