Beaver Dam came into Saturday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won by a set and slipped past the Baraboo Thunderbirds 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Despite the loss, Baraboo saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aleah Gross had seven digs and two aces.

Beaver Dam's win bumped their record up to 16-18. As for Baraboo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-22 record this season.
