Volleyball Recap: Kerman Takes a Loss

Kerman lost against Justin Garza back in August of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions fell 3-1 to the Guardians. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 15-25, 25-23.

Justin Garza was led to victory by Maleeyah Walker and Abigail Zepeda. Walker had 15 digs and three assists, while Zepeda had 16 assists and five digs. That's the most assists Zepeda has posted over her last 12 matches.

Kerman's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Justin Garza, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Coming up, Kerman is taking a road trip to face off against Tulare Union at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Justin Garza, they will host Roosevelt at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
