Basketball Recap: Des Moines Comes Up Short

Des Moines was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 54-47 to the Maxwell Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-48 on February 4th.

Des Moines' loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Maxwell, their victory bumped their record up to 21-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Des Moines will challenge Wagon Mound at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maxwell, they will square off against Roy/Mosquero at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
