The Millikan Rams will take on the Lynwood Knights in a holiday battle at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Millikan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Millikan's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Warren. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Millikan's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked ninth, while Warren are ranked 301st).

Grant Johnson and Pablo Lica scored both of Millikan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Lynwood and Dominguez, and Dominguez kept the tradition alive. The Knights might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Dons an easy 6-1 win. Lynwood were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

The victory made it two in a row for Millikan and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two matchups. As for Lynwood, they now have a losing record of 3-4-2.

Millikan took their victory against Lynwood in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
