Baseball Recap: James Lick Comes Up Short

If James Lick was riding high fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Independence on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Comets lost 14-2 to the 76ers on Thursday. The Comets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the 76ers earlier this season, when they won 9-3.

James Lick's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Independence, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-6 record.
