Soccer Game Preview: John F. Kennedy vs. Gonzales

The John F. Kennedy Rockets are taking a road trip to square off against the Gonzales Apaches at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. John F. Kennedy's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Saturday, John F. Kennedy sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Luling.

Meanwhile, Gonzales entered their tilt with Cole on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Cougars.

Gonzales pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three games. As for John F. Kennedy, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

John F. Kennedy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Gonzales in their previous meeting back in January. Can John F. Kennedy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
