Football Game Recap: Ascension Christian vs. Fisher

Ascension Christian won the last time they faced Fisher, and things went their way on Friday, too. Everything went Ascension Christian's way against Fisher as they made off with a 39-7 win. Ascension Christian were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Ascension Christian's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 25 first-half points. Meanwhile, Fisher couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 25-0 heading into the break. The Ascension Christian defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game. The victory bumped Ascension Christian's record up to 2-3. Fisher are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.

Ascension Christian will stay at home next week against St. Martin's Episcopal at 7:00 PM. Ascension Christian will be strutting in after a victory while St. Martin's Episcopal will be stumbling in from a defeat. Fisher will look to defend their home turf against Riverdale at 7:00 PM.
