Volleyball Recap: Mesa Takes a Loss

If Mesa was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Dobson on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jackrabbits fell 3-1 to the Mustangs on Thursday. The Jackrabbits were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Mesa has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Dobson, they moved to 7-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Coming up, Mesa will venture away from home to square off against Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dobson, they will be taking part in a tournament against Willow Canyon at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
