New Knoxville is 9-0 against Waynesfield-Goshen since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The New Knoxville Rangers will host the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, New Knoxville turned things around against Fort Recovery on Thursday. They strolled past the Indians with points to spare, taking the game 38-21. The contest marked the Rangers' most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, Waynesfield-Goshen entered their tilt with Lima Central Catholic on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took down the Thunderbirds 45-26. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 349th, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 711th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Waynesfield-Goshen has also been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for New Knoxville, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-16.

Everything went New Knoxville's way against Waynesfield-Goshen when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as New Knoxville made off with a 65-44 win.
