Volleyball Recap: Encina Falls Despite Big Games from Diana Khalvati and Stephanie Hernandez Aguilar

Encina lost against Foresthill back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs fell 3-1 to the Wildfires.

The final score came out to 25-19, 12-25, 25-18, 25-17.

Stephanie Hernandez Aguilar and Diana Khalvati certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Hernandez Aguilar had 11 digs and one assist, while Khalvati had nine digs and four assists.

Encina's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Foresthill, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Encina will welcome Adventure Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Foresthill, they will take on Sacramento Waldorf at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
