Bullitt Central's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They blew past the Henry County Wildcats 12-0. Considering the Cougars have won three matches by more than 11 runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Collin Waltrip looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Bullitt Central let Cole Halbrook and Logan Leber run wild. Halbrook scored a run while going 2-for-2, while Leber scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Leber is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Anderson Smith also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Bullitt Central hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts in three consecutive games.

Bullitt Central pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Henry County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Bullitt Central will be playing at home against Campbellsville at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Bullitt Central will need to watch out since Campbellsville has now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Henry County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Henry County Wildcats challenge Frankfort Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
