Basketball Recap: Kewaskum Takes a Loss

Kewaskum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost to the Waupun Warriors at home by a 71-54 margin. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while the Warriors are ranked 93rd).

Kewaskum's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Waupun, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

When Kewaskum and Waupun next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Kewaskum will try to stop Slinger's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Waupun will challenge Winnebago Lutheran Academy and their three-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
