Anthony Wayne is a perfect 6-0 against Whitmer since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Generals will square off against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Anthony Wayne has six straight wins, Whitmer has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Anthony Wayne can't be too worried about heading out to take on Whitmer: they just beat Lincolnview at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Generals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lancers on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-0. Two seems to be a good number for the Generals as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Whitmer came up short against Findlay on Wednesday, falling 16-4.

Olivia Munoz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Whitmer's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Anthony Wayne, their win bumped their record up to 17-2.

Anthony Wayne beat Whitmer 4-0 in their previous meeting back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Generals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
