Stamford and Wilton are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Black Knights will face off against the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Stamford will be strutting in after a win while Wilton will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Stamford needed a bit of extra time to put away Norwalk. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bears 6-4.

The team relied heavily on Benny Degrutolla, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Travis Fuchs, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Wilton might've scored the first runs on Saturday, but it was McMahon who claimed the real prize. The Warriors fell just short of the Senators by a score of 6-5. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stamford's record now sits at 14-7. As for Wilton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.

Stamford couldn't quite get it done against Wilton when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 5-1. Can the Black Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
