Baseball Recap: Bishop Carroll Takes a Loss

Bishop Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers, falling 19-0. The Huskies were not able to make up for their loss to the Mountaineers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Bishop Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Philipsburg-Osceola, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Bishop Carroll will face off against Bald Eagle Area at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Philipsburg-Osceola, they will square off against Clearfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
