Football Recap: Casa Roble Wins Going Away Against Nevada Union + How To Watch

The Casa Roble Rams made easy work of the Nevada Union Miners on Friday and carried off a 39-14 victory. That looming 39-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rams yet this season.

Casa Roble had a senior duo take command as Jaylan Barcenas gained 157 total yards and three touchdowns and Aidan Lopez threw for 255 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Defeat or not, Nevada Union got some senior leadership from Rhyder Eelkema and Brandon McCallum. Eelkema rushed for 148 yards and one TD on only 14 carries, while McCallum rushed for 138 yards and one score. Eelkema's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 131 rushing yards.

The win made it two in a row for Casa Roble and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Nevada Union, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Casa Roble and Nevada Union will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Rams see the field they'll take on Woodland at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Nevada Union, their break will end when they face Antioch at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
