Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Maraya Betancourt stepped things up a notch to give Crete-Monee the 'W'. Betancourt produced her best game of the campaign: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season.

Betancourt's strong effort led Crete-Monee over Thornton and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats are limping into the matchup having lost 11 straight on the road dating back to last season.
