Volleyball Recap: Torres Comes Up Short

Torres suffered their biggest defeat since March 5th on Wednesday. They came up short against the Edison Tigers, falling 3-0. The Toros have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

While Torres was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-16.

Torres' loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Edison, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

Coming up, Torres will challenge Hoover at 5:30 p.m. on March 27th. As for Edison, they will venture away from home to face off against Bullard at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
