Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lynn Classical). Everything went their way against the Malden Golden Tornados on Saturday as they made off with a 20-9 win. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 11 runs or more this season.
Aysia Olaes made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. Olaes was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
In other batting news, Neveah Eth was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. McKenna Duncan was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Lynn Classical kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Lynn Classical now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Malden, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
