Volleyball Recap: Combs Comes Up Short

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Combs didn't have enough. They came up short against the Goldwater Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Coyotes just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Goldwater scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-20.

Combs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Goldwater, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Looking ahead, Combs will host Poston Butte at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Coyotes are facing the Broncos at the right time seeing as the Broncos are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Goldwater, they are taking a road trip to face off against Paradise Honors at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
