Jefferson managed to keep up with Hedgesville until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cougars lost 4-0 to the Eagles. The result was nothing new for Jefferson as the squad haven't won a game since September 19th.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13-2. As for Hedgesville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson will welcome Fort Hill at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Fort Hill will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Jefferson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hedgesville, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Keyser at 7:00 p.m.
