Softball Recap: Clear Spring Comes Up Short

Clear Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brunswick Railroaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Railroaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-3 last Wednesday.

Clear Spring's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Brunswick, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Clear Spring is set to challenge their familiar foe Smithsburg at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Brunswick will take on rival Middletown on Monday.
