Recap: Brook Hill Guard vs. Center Roughriders
The Brook Hill Guard's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell to Center 55-49.
When it comes to explaining why Brook Hill lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brenna Hill. Despite the final result, she scored 31 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Hill scored a full 63.3% of Brook Hill's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Remy Tonroy, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Brook Hill's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Center, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
Brook Hill is on the road again on Saturday and play against Beckville at 5:15 p.m. on December 2nd. Beckville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 709th, while Brook Hill is ranked 183rd). As for Center, they will head out on the road to face off against Waskom at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waskom will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
