Basketball Recap: King Philip Regional Starts Season with Defeat at Home

King Philip Regional unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Franklin Panthers an easy 61-35 win. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in February.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King Philip Regional and Medfield will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Franklin and Dartmouth will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
