Soccer Game Preview: Palmetto vs. True North Classical Academy

The Palmetto Panthers will square off against the True North Classical Academy Titans at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Palmetto comes in on five and True North Classical Academy on four.

Palmetto's tournament run continued when they took on MAST Academy on Friday. Palmetto walked away with a 4-2 win over MAST Academy. Abigail Pereira was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask True North Classical Academy). They never let Marathon onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won four games by five goals or more so far this season.

Palmetto is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those nine matches. As for True North Classical Academy, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
