            Baseball Recap: Immaculate Mustangs vs. Bunnell Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            Immaculate was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They were a single  run away from ending the streak, but they lost  an   8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bunnell Bulldogs. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in April of 2024.
  Connor Kraft made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. He also  brought in two  RBI, marking his first of the season.  Adam Chila was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  run.
Immaculate's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Bunnell,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 7-2.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Immaculate will  take on  rival Notre Dame Prep  at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Bunnell is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Pomperaug  at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday.
