Baseball Recap: Cypress Park Takes a Loss

Cypress Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Langham Creek Lobos. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lobos apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Cypress Park saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Schomburg, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Cypress Park's record now sits at 5-15. As for Langham Creek, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-14.

While Cypress Park had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
