Soccer Game Preview: Independence vs. Coahoma County

Independence is a perfect 4-0 against Coahoma County since December of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wildcats will host the Red Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Independence will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Independence's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Strayhorn 7-0. Jordan Morales was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Coahoma County scored the most goals they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Vardaman, falling 8-1. Coahoma County have struggled against Vardaman recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Independence's win bumped their record up to 7-3-1. As for Coahoma County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
