Football Game Preview: Jenkins County War Eagles vs. Bowdon Red Devils + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Justin Wright and Joshua Hopkins are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Jenkins County War Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Bowdon Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Jenkins County comes in on four and Bowdon on seven.

Jenkins County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 35-26 win over Schley County.

Calvin Adams was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 34 yards and a pair of TDs. What's more, he posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Jenkins County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 275 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Bowdon was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Washington-Wilkes 54-24. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Hopkins and Mayson Mingle. Hopkins had a great game and rushed for 131 yards and three scores on only ten carries. Meanwhile, Mingle was balling out in the loss, throwing for 288 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 42 yards and two TDs.

Bowdon's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Jenkins County, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
