Brandywine had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mount Pleasant Green Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Thursday.

Brandywine pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-6 First State Military Academy and 3-8-1 Mount Pleasant (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 27.2% over those games). As for Mount Pleasant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brandywine will face off against First State Military Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mount Pleasant, they will head out to take on Christiana at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
