Soccer Recap: Yreka Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Yreka was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Red Bluff Spartans by a score of 1-0. The Miners have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Yreka's loss dropped their record down to 4-3-3. As for Red Bluff, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Yreka wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-2 defeat against Shasta on the 10th. Red Bluff has also already played their next game, a 4-2 win against Enterprise on the 15th.
