Basketball Recap: Woodlawn Comes Up Short

Woodlawn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 56-46 to the Shades Valley Mounties. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Colonels of the 58-48 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Woodlawn now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Shades Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.

Woodlawn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 69-32 defeat against Mountain Brook on the 24th. Shades Valley has also already played their next game, a 69-29 victory against Center Point on the 24th.
