Basketball Game Preview: Jefferson Raiders vs. Decatur Golden Gators

The Jefferson Raiders and the Decatur Golden Gators will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Jefferson will head into Friday's matchup after some sweet revenge against Lindbergh: Jefferson made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lindbergh, but still couldn't quite topple them. Jefferson breezed by Lindbergh to the tune of 60-18 on Friday. That looming 60-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Raiders yet this season.

Meanwhile, Decatur made easy work of Federal Way on Friday and carried off a 60-38 win.

Decatur is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Jefferson came up short against Decatur in their previous matchup on January 9th, falling 49-39. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Decatur's Jeralynn Sevaaetasi, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards.
