Basketball Recap: Master's Academy's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Master's Academy had won two straight games and Phoenix Henderson did her part to make it three on Tuesday. Everything went the Master's Academy Patriots' way against the Brevard Christian War Eagles as the Master's Academy Patriots made off with a 35-10 win thanks in part to Henderson, who posted 14 points and seven steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed seven or more in the last three games she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Gia Gasbarro, who put up no points in addition to six steals and five boards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (four).

Master's Academy pushed their record up to 10-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.7 points. As for Brevard Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Master's Academy will challenge St. Edward's at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both have allowed few points on average, (St. Edward's: 29, Master's Academy: 29.2) so any points scored will be well earned. Brevard Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
