Richland waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Wahpeton Huskies with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Richland's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Wahpeton, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richland will face off against Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wahpeton, they will head out to face off against Valley City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Huskies their first taste of in-conference action this season.
