Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ninety Six). Everything went their way against the Laurens Raiders on Thursday as they made off with a 12-0 win. Considering Ninety Six have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Laurens from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Sophia Somaini led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for six goals all by herself.

The victory (which was Ninety Six's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those four matchups. As for Laurens, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ninety Six will square off against Strom Thurmond at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Laurens, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Emerald at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th.
