Neel Smith, Wheaton's leader in stolen bases on the season, led the team again on Monday. Smith was unstoppable, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He has become a key player for Wheaton: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-6 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Smith and Wheaton will square off against Kennedy at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights are 8-2 against the Cavaliers going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
