Nixon Ligouri's Big Game Leads Auburn over Fairbury
Starting off the list is Auburn's Nixon Ligouri, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Ligouri rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Auburn's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Ligouri will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Syracuse on Friday.

The win (which was Syracuse's third in a row) raised their record to 4-3. Lintz and Syracuse will face off against Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Cy Petersen Leads Syracuse over Falls City
Syracuse was led to victory by Cy Petersen, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Petersen rushed for 147 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
Falls City's probably not too fond of Petersen given he always seems to get the better of them. When Petersen last faced the Tigers back in September of 2023, he rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns.
