Sun Valley had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 42-23 win over the Gray Stone Day Knights on Tuesday.

Sun Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kayleigh White, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards. Kayana White was another key player, going 6-for-9 en route to 12 points and five rebounds.

Gray Stone Day's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Sun Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-11 defeat against Parkwood on the 19th. As for Gray Stone Day, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-27 loss against West Stanly on the 24th.
