Basketball Recap: Torrington Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Logan Tucciarone and Adi Puskarevic

Torrington has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hall Titans on Wednesday. The game was a 22-22 toss-up at halftime, but the Raiders couldn't quite close it out.

Torrington's loss came despite strong showings from Adi Puskarevic and Logan Tucciarone. Puskarevic dropped a double-double with 21 points and 17 rebounds, while Tucciarone posted ten points along with eight boards and five assists. Those 17 boards gave Puskarevic a new career-high.

Torrington's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Hall, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

Looking ahead, Torrington will head out on the road to take on Waterbury Career Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hall, they will take on Conard at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
