Fairmont won the last time they faced Lumberton and things went their way on Friday too. The Golden Tornadoes enjoyed a cozy 57-43 win over the Pirates. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Tornadoes.

Fairmont got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaziyah McLean out in front who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Duran, who earned ten points and five assists.

Fairmont's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lumberton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Fairmont will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Scotland at 6:00 p.m. on December 3. As for Lumberton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-51 defeat against Overhills on the 25th.
