Soccer Recap: American Heritage's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If American Heritage was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Intermountain Christian last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots fell just short of the Waterford Ravens by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but American Heritage couldn't quite close it out.

American Heritage's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2. As for Waterford, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Looking ahead, American Heritage will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Rowland Hall at 4:00 p.m. American Heritage will be up against Rowland Hall's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.56 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Waterford, they will head out on the road to face off against Intermountain Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
