Softball Recap: Long Beach Poly Beats Warren for Their Sixth Straight Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Long Beach Poly had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Warren Bears. The win was familiar territory for the Jackrabbits, who have now won six matches in a row.

Tegan Breaux spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ki'Ele Ho-Ching, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Kween Tauala, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Long Beach Poly's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Warren, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 20-13 record.

Looking ahead, Long Beach Poly will venture away from home to face off against Monache at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Marauders have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Warren does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
