Baseball Recap: Lake Park Lancers vs. Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Lake Park and Wheaton-Warrenville South had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Lancers skirted past the Tigers 4-2. The game was the first time the Lancers have beaten the Tigers on their field since May 9, 2023.

Patrick St. John tossed a big game, tossing 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. He is becoming a predictor of Lake Park's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is 7-3 (and 8-9 when he doesn't).
